The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is accepting applications for 2022 hunt permit-tags issued through the draw process for deer, fall turkey, fall javelina, bighorn sheep, fall bison and sandhill crane.  The deadline for the department to receive all applications is 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) Tuesday, June 14, 2022. New California Grunion Season And Limit Regulations

Earlier this year, the CDFW adopted regulatory changes to increase the length of the seasonal closure and create a bag and possession limit for grunion, an iconic species found in California and Baja California. Effective June 1, 2022, the new regulations add June to the seasonal no-take closure for grunion, which now extends from April 1 through June 30. FWC Accepting Applications for 2022 Alligator Hunt Lottery

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) approved changes to Florida’s statewide alligator hunt. Application periods begin at 10 a.m. EST on the first day indicated for the period and run through 11:59 p.m. EST on the last day. Approved changes regarding the statewide alligator hunt include increasing hunt hours from 17 per day to a full 24-hours of hunting during the day. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will conduct alligator lottery harvests on 21 LDWF Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs), 28 public lakes and one U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) property Aug. 31-Nov. 5, 2022. Applications are now available and are due by June 30. Michigan NRC Approves Change to Lake Trout Regulations for Lake Huron

Michigan Natural Resources Commission recently approved a fishing regulation change regarding lake trout and splake in Lake Huron. The change was effective as of May 13.
