The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (ADCNR) Marine Resources Division (MRD) opened weekends for red snapper fishing for private recreational anglers October 17, 2020. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission unanimously voted to approve new changes to Arkansas’s regulations on recreational fishing, commercial fishing and aquaculture. The Hawaii DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) announces the opening of the 2020-2021 Game Bird Hunting Season on Saturday, November 7, 2020. The Ohio Wildlife Council passed a slate of new rules and regulations at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Rules that take effect on Jan. 1, 2021, include new walleye and catfish daily limits. The Council approved a six-walleye daily limit across Lake Erie from March 1 to April 30, 2021. A separate walleye daily limit for the Sandusky River and Sandusky Bay from March 1 to April 30 has been rescinded.    Given recent reports of concerning mountain lion activity at Deer Creek Canyon Park, Colorado Parks and Wildlife advises the public to be aware and take necessary precautions in Jefferson County Open Space’s 1,637-acre park southwest of Littleton.
