Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is part of a major brook trout restoration program in South Carolina. Washington Deadline March 31 for Deer-Elk Multiple-Season Tags

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will hold the drawing in mid-April, randomly selecting names for 8,500 multiple-season deer tags and 1,000 multiple season elk tags. New state records were set for the species of yellow perch, redhorse sucker, cisco and bowfin (taken by bow and arrow). 2015 was another great year for record fish catches in Vermont, said Shawn Good, fisheries biologist with Vermont Fish & Wildlife. Wyoming Survey Shows a Slight Increase in the Jackson Elk Herd

Wyoming's largest elk herd is estimated to have increased in numbers slightly. Wyoming Game and Fish Department wildlife biologists detected notably few changes in the herd, which roams the Jackson Hole area, including the National Elk Refuge.
