Deadline to Apply for Wyoming Springer, Glendo Pheasant Hunts Sept 15  Wyoming bird hunters have a few days left to apply for the Springer and Glendo special pheasant hunts. Applications are accepted online until 12 midnight on September 15. Hunters are reminded that in addition to appropriate licensing, the $12.50 pheasant special management permit is required for all ages for the Springer and Glendo hunts. North Dakota Summarizes 2017 Pheasant Brood Survey

North Dakota’s roadside pheasant survey conducted in late July and August indicates total birds and number of broods are down statewide from 2016. R.J. Gross, upland game management biologist for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, said the survey shows total pheasants observed per 100 miles are down 61 percent from last year.
