Washington 2018 Spring Turkey Hunting Season Opens April 15 - Complete a Hunter Education Course Now

With the spring turkey season set to begin April 15, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) urges prospective hunters to sign up now for hunter education courses to avoid missing out on any hunting opportunities in 2018. All hunters born after Jan. 1, 1972 must complete a hunter education course to purchase a hunting license. The spring turkey season runs through May 31, 2018.
