Missouri 2017 Spring Turkey Harvest Down from Last Year

The Missouri 2017 spring turkey season is over and, according to the Department of Conservation, less were harvested this year compared to 2016. Throughout the state, 43,339 turkeys were reported this year, around 5,000 less than last year's numbers. Top harvest counties were Franklin with 932 birds checked, Texas with 843, and Callaway with 697.
