Apply for California 2018 Deer & Pig Hunts in Western Merced County by July 3  The California (CDFW) is now accepting applications for a limited number of deer and pig hunt access permits on opening weekend, Aug. 11-12, 2018 in Zone A for the general season. Only official applications will be accepted and must be received before 4:30 p.m. on July 3. Reservations will be selected by a computerized drawing at 11 a.m. on July 5.
