Two additional South Carolina public dove fields have been added in the Upstate just in time for the start of the 2020 Mourning Dove Season, opening Saturday, Sept. 5. The first of two opening days of California’s dove hunting season is fast approaching. This year’s season for mourning dove, white-winged dove, spotted dove and ringed turtle dove will run from Tuesday, Sept. 1 through Tuesday, Sept. 15 statewide, followed by a second hunt period, Saturday, Nov. 14 through Monday, Dec. 28. Iowa 2020-21 fall turkey hunting season opens Oct 12-Dec 4. Non-Residents are not eligible for Iowa fall turkey hunting licenses. Resident hunters may purchase up to two licenses online. Kansas Approves Special Equipment For Hunting Coyotes at Night

Kansas Wildlife, Parks and Tourism Commissioners passed a regulation change that will allow hunters to use artificial light and thermal-imaging equipment when hunting coyotes at night beginning in 2021. Ohio 2020 archery deer hunting season opens Sept 26 and runs through Feb 7, 2021. Hunting hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. No preseason or walk-in controlled hunts will occur for the 2020-2021 season. A hunter may kill no more than one antlered deer during the 2020-2021 season regardless of where or how it is taken. The Minnesota DNR has scheduled two public auctions of confiscated fishing, hunting and trapping equipment. Registered motor vehicles used to access designated wildlife areas owned or managed by the DFW are required to display a Conservation Access Pass (CAP).
