Registration for Alabama 2016 Alligator Hunts Opens June 3

Alligator on log  The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) will open online registration for the state’s 11th annual regulated alligator hunts June 3 at 8 a.m. Registration must be completed by 8 a.m. July 12. A total of 260 Alligator Possession Tags will be spread among four hunting zones. Florida Gag Grouper Season Starts June 1 With New Size Limit Regulations

Gag grouper will open for recreational harvest in most state and all federal Gulf of Mexico waters June 1. The black grouper and gag minimum size limit will increase from 22-inches to 24-inches total length in Gulf state waters starting June 1, to match recent changes in Gulf federal waters. Musky size is on the rise in Wisconsin and that means the potential for a big bite is better than ever as the northern season gets underway on Saturday, May 28. Wisconsin Approves 2016 Deer Harvest Quotas & Season Structure

The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board approved deer hunting season framework and antlerless deer quotas for 2016 at its May 25 meeting in Madison. Ten deer management units will not have an antlerless quota (each within the Northern and Central Forest zones), while the rest of Wisconsin will have a quota of 256,775 antlerless deer (compared to 224,735 in 2015).
