Salvaging Oregon Roadkilled Deer & Elk Remains Unlawful for 2017-18

A new law allowing the salvage of Oregon roadkilled deer and elk will not take effect until Jan. 1, 2019 at the latest. Salvaging roadkilled deer and elk remains unlawful until new rules are adopted to implement the new statute. The18% Value Added Tax being levied on hunting fees and services in Tanzania has been lifted. Minister of Finance and Planning Philip Mpango  recently announced the decision before the parliament of Tanzania. Beginning July 5, the Galveston County Tax office will partner with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to provide boat titling and registration services to both visitors and residents of Galveston County. California Sage-Grouse Hunting Suspended for 2017 Season  On June 21, the California Fish and Game Commission (Commission) voted unanimously to reduce sage-grouse hunting permits to zero for the 2017 season. New size, Bag Limits for South Carolina Flounder

Legislation recently passed by the South Carolina General Assembly will increase the size limit and lower the bag and boat limits for southern, summer, and Gulf flounder in state waters. The regulations taking effect July 1 will change the minimum legal size for flounder from 14 inches (total length) to 15 inches (total length).
