West Virginia's 2017 deer hunting season kicks of with archery hunting Sept 30 - Dec 31. The DNR would like to remind bow hunters to check their equipment. Archery hunters should be well into practice by this time of year. If you have any doubts about your archery equipment, take it to an archery shop and have it checked by a qualified professional.
