Washington Razor Clam Dig at Twin Harbors Cancelled Due to Toxin Levels

Elevated marine toxin levels have prompted the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) to cancel a razor clam dig scheduled to start Friday, Oct 28 at Twin Harbors. State shellfish managers already scratched a dig at Long Beach (that was also scheduled to start 10 28) due to elevated levels of domoic acid, a natural toxin produced by certain types of marine algae.
