Texas Hunters Reminded to Remove Duck Blinds on Caddo Lake WMA
by TBC Press on 01/29/16
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reminds hunters that the use of permanent duck blinds on the Caddo Lake Wildlife Management Area is prohibited at the conclusion of this season, which ends Sunday, Jan. 31. No permanent duck blinds will be permitted on the area in the future.
Individuals claiming existing duck blinds will have until March 31, 2016 to remove blinds or blind materials. Hunters are urged to take advantage of current lake levels to access those blinds. Individuals who are unsure if a duck blind is within the Caddo Lake WMA boundary, should contact the Region 3 office for assistance (903) 566-1626 ext. 221. GPS coordinates of those structures are preferred for exact location purposes, but not necessary. READ MORE
