South Dakota Proposes 2017 Elk & Mountain Goat Seasons

The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) Commission proposed to allocate 443 any elk and 1,150 antlerless elk licenses for the 2017 Black Hills elk hunting season at their March meeting. The proposal would result in a decrease of 105 antlerless elk licenses compared to 2016. The 2017 season will follow the same season date structure as the 2016 season.
