South Carolina Striped Bass Season Opens in the Santee Cooper System Oct 1

striped bass  Oct. 1 marks the opening day of the striped bass season on the Santee Cooper system and coastal rivers in South Carolina. The bag limit of three fish per day with a minimum size of 26 inches remains in effect through the May 30, 2017, closure.
