South Carolina Opens New Rifle and Pistol Range in Richland County   People in the Midlands can now enjoy a new rifle and pistol range in Richland County, South Carolina. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) held a grand opening ceremony for the Wateree Rifle and Pistol Range last week. The Wateree Range is a supervised range in Richland County that is owned and operated by SCDNR. The range currently only offers shotgun sports: including skeet, trap, five-stand, and sporting clays.
