South Carolina Heritage Preserves Temporarily Closed Due to Flooding

Three heritage preserves in Horry and Marion counties have been partially closed due to heavy rains, according to the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. Due to local rivers reaching flood stage again after heavy rains, road closures have been issued in parts of Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve and Waccamaw River Heritage Preserve in Horry County and Little Pee Dee Heritage Preserve in Horry and Marion counties.
