Rhode Island 2018 Trout Fishing Season Opens  The Rhode Island 2018 trout fishing season opened April 14 and runs through Feb 2019. The Rhode Island (DEM) is encouraging anglers who have not yet obtained their freshwater license to do so through the new online licensing system.
