Rhode Island 2017 Trout Fishing Season Opens April 8

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is advising anglers to avoid rivers and use caution as the trout fishing season kicks off at sunrise on Saturday April 8. The daily creel and possession limit for trout is five from April 8, 2017 through November 30, 2017, and two from December 1, 2017 through February 28, 2018.
