Nevada Bassett and Comins Lakes Stocked - First Time Since 2007

   In late April, as part of an ongoing project to restore Comins Lake to its status as a trophy trout fishery in Nevadas high desert, the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) stocked the lake for the first time since 2007. We stocked 10,000 trout, including some surplus brood stock that averaged a pound and a half each, said Heath Korell, NDOW fisheries biologist.
