Missouri 2017-18 General Fall Turkey Hunting Season Opens Oct 1  The Missouri 2017-18 fall turkey hunting season got underway with archery season Sept 15 - Nov 10. The fall firearms season opens Oct 1 - Oct 31. Shooting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to sunset. Fall firearms turkey hunting is not permitted in Dunklin, McDonald, Mississippi, New Madrid, Newton, Pemiscot, and Scott counties. Hunter may take two turkeys of either sex.
