Thanksgiving weekend marks the start of Waterfowl hunting season in Mississippi. The season opens the day after Thanksgiving. The hunting seasons for ducks, mergansers, and coots will be Nov. 24-26, Dec.1-3, and Dec. 6 – Jan. 28.
