Michigan Proposes 2017 Deer Regulation Changes

In 2014, the Michigan Natural Resources Commission and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources agreed to maintain deer regulations on a three-year regulatory cycle to stabilize regulations, reduce public confusion and enhance communications. That three-year time frame has ended, and the DNR has prepared recommended changes to deer regulations. Within Wildlife Conservation Order Amendment No. 4 of 2017, the following recommendations will be brought forth to the NRC for information in May.
