Michigan DNR to Auction Surplus Public Land Starting May 10

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources today announced it will offer surplus public land for sale by sealed-bid auction between May 10 and June 7, 2016. The auction will feature 28 parcels located in counties mainly in central and northern Lower Michigan, including Cheboygan, Clare, Gladwin, Kalkaska, Marquette, Midland, Muskegon, Newaygo, Osceola, Roscommon and Wexford.  Properties range in size from less than an acre to 140 acres.
