Michigan 2018 Trout Fishing Season Opens April 28 with Increased Bag Limits  Michigan anglers heading out for the opener of inland trout season, on Type 1 streams, Saturday April 28th will have portions of nearly 40 Upper Peninsula trout streams where an additional five brook trout may be kept as part of the daily bag limit.
