Maine Emergency Order for Somerset County Cancelled - Hunting to Resume

The Emergency Proclamation issued by Maine's Governor Paul R. LePage which closed to hunting the area surrounding last week's manhunt has been terminated effective immediately. Law enforcement has apprehended the fugitive sought in connection with the shooting death of a Somerset County Deputy; and the civil emergency in portions of Norridgewock, Skowhegan, and Fairfield no longer exists.
