Louisiana New Regulations Governing Night-time Take of Outlaw Quadrupeds

New regulations requiring permits for the night-time take of outlaw quadrupeds (wild pig), nutria (otter) and beaver on private property have gone into effect, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) recently announced . The permit will be valid for a period of one year from July 1-June 30 the following year, however, they may only be used from Sept. 1 of each year through the final day of February of the next year.
