Kentucky Opens Additional Property to Public Access
by TBC Press on 04/20/18The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources has opened more land for public use. Old Trace Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is a 323-acre property near the community of Emerson in Lewis County. Hunting on the WMA is allowed under statewide regulations. There is abundant opportunity for game species as most of this track is made up of upland oak forest, said Nathan Gregory, coordinator of Kentucky Fish and Wildlife’s Northeast Wildlife Region.
