The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) announces an open fishing season for rainbow trout in the Kokee Public Fishing Area (PFA) on Kauai, beginning Saturday, June 17, 2017. Anglers may fish daily from Saturday, June 17, to Saturday, September 30, 2017. Fishing hours will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Anglers must have a valid State of Hawaii freshwater game fishing license.
