The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources 2017-2018 game bird hunting season opens on Saturday, November 4, 2017 on KAUA‘I, O‘AHU, MAUI, MOLOKA‘I, LANA‘I and the big Island of Hawaii. The fall game bird hunting season will run through Sunday, January 28, 2018. Species include ring-neck pheasants, Francolins, chukar partridge and dove.
