Apply for South Dakota 2018 East/West River Special Buck Hunting  The South Dakota 2018 East/West River Special Buck Hunting opened March 15 and the deadline to apply is April 13. The East River 2018, the season will run from Nov. 17-Dec. 2.  Antlerless tags will be valid Dec. 8-16 for late season hunting. The Commission proposed to reinstate days in which only antlerless licenses are valid for the West River season for 2018. The West River season will run.. READ MORE
