sandhill cranes flying  Applications will be accepted Nov. 15 through Nov. 30 for Kentucky’s 2016-17 sandhill crane hunting season. Applications are only accepted online at the website of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife will issue 400 permits to hunters this year through a randomized computer drawing.
