Louisiana 2020 Turkey Season Gets Underway in All Three State Areas

Turkey hunting season opened Saturday (April 4) in Louisiana and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) wants to remind hunters to use social distancing practices due to the coronavirus pandemic. For turkey hunters, turkey tags can be printed online by logging into LDWF’s license website and can be printed on any 81/2 x 11 printer to be used as a valid tag. North Dakota 2020 Paddlefish Snagging Harvest Season Canceled

The North Dakota 2020-22 fishing proclamation has been amended and the state Game and Fish Department is canceling the upcoming paddlefish snagging harvest season due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the amendment does allow for the possibility of a one-week snag-and-release season May 15-21, which is two weeks later than the normal opening day. Oklahoma 2020 Turkey Season Gets Underway   Thousands of hunters will take to forests and fields because spring turkey hunting in all but eight southeastern counties of Oklahoma opens Monday May 6th.  In the southeastern counties, spring turkey season will open April 18 for youths only and April 20 for all hunters. Tennessee’s 2020 turkey season opened Saturday April 4th as scheduled and will run through May 17, 2020: Bag limit: 4 bearded birds. No more than 1 per day. The Hawaii 2020 deer rifle season within the Lana‘i Cooperative Game Management Area, is being cancelled due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.
