Oregon 2020 leftover big game ELK tags will go on sale July 1 at 10 a.m. Tags will only be available for purchase via the online licensing system.  New this year, leftover tags are no longer available as an additional tag. The Wisconsin application period for the 2021 bear hunting season will open July 1 after the successful completion of legislative review. The application deadline remains Dec. 10, 2020. Canada 2020-21 Waterfowl Permits are sold each year beginning August 1 and are valid until June 30 of the subsequent year.  Beginning August 1, 2020, you can purchase your permit, valid from August 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. North Dakota’s deer gun lottery has been held and individual results are available online at the state Game and Fish Department’s website. More than 6,200 deer gun licenses remain. The Louisiana (LDWF) will conduct nine lottery teal hunts on White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area (WCA) in Vermilion Parish. The deadline to apply is July 31. Two additional openings have been added to Oregon’s Central Coast Subarea, increasing anglers’ opportunity to harvest the quota for the spring all-depth halibut fishery. The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department (GFP) is reminding outdoor enthusiasts the habitat stamp requirement goes into effect July 1. The habitat stamp was created by the 2020 South Dakota legislature. A habitat stamp is required for anyone 18 years of age or older when purchasing or applying for a hunting, fishing or furbearer license.
