Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the procedure for issuing Tennessee 2020 duck blinds and sandhill crane tags this year will be 100 percent online with no in-person drawings. With?the summer?Chinook?salmon? run?exceeding?preseason expectations, fishery managers with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW)  agreed to open several recreational? river fishing opportunities. Chinook fishing on the Columbia River is open though July 8 from the Rocky Point/Tongue Point Line upstream to the Highway 395 bridge in Pasco. The portion of the river from Wells Dam to the Highway 173 Bridge at Brewster will open July 16. Iowa's Marble Beach State Recreation Area opened its doors to campers on July 1. The popular park was closed for two years while renovations took place, including constructing a new shower building, new camp pads, upgraded sewer and electric, and more.    The world record for paddlefish taken with rod and reel will likely fall to a giant 146.7-pound Oklahoma monster snagged at Keystone Lake on June 28 by James Lukehart of Edmond.
