Florida 2020 Atlantic Red Snapper Season Opens

Illinois DNR Announces Five-Year Waterfowl Seasons Plan for 2021-2025

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) has selected season dates and submitted waterfowl hunting zone lines for 2021-2025 to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).  The 2021-2025 hunting seasons regulations were developed based on a thorough review of scientific information and input from waterfowl hunters and are intended to provide the most opportunity for hunters while protecting waterfowl resources. Fishery managers in Washington and Oregon set additional Chinook salmon fishing days during their joint meeting today thanks to an upper Columbia summer Chinook run that is exceeding original forecasts. Recreational fishing will be open July 9-15 for the retention of hatchery Chinook (adults and jacks), in the mainstem Columbia River from the Tongue Point-Rocky Point line upstream to the Highway 395 Bridge at Pasco, Wash. Alaska 2020-21 Waterfowl & Migratory Bird Regulation Changes

Alaska Department of Fish & Game (DF&G) has set the 2020-21 waterfowl & migratory bird regulations. Some changes were approved that include waterfow seasons and more. Units 1-4 (Southeast Region): the waterfowl hunting season has been shifted to occur from September 16 – December 31 in accordance with 2019 Board of Game action. Idaho Offers Disabled American Veterans New Discounts for Muzzleloader & Archery Permits

A new law that took effect July 1 reduces the Idaho archery and muzzleloader permit fees specifically for Disabled American Veterans. Only holders of Disabled American Veteran licenses are eligible for the discounted permits. The new fees for both permit types are $3.75 for resident and $5.75 for nonresident Disabled American Veterans. Maine is now accepting applications for 2020 Any Deer Permit Lottery. There is no application fee to apply for an any-deer permit. You can apply online. Applications must be completed by 11:59 pm (ET) on August 17, 2020.  A chance drawing will be held on September 11, 2020. Oregon 2020 Razor Clamming Closed on Clatsop Beaches July 15-Sept 30

The Oregon 2020 annual summer conservation closure for razor clams begins Wednesday, July 15 and runs through Sept. 30 on Clatsop beaches (from Tillamook Head in Seaside to the mouth of the Columbia River.) Applications Open for TPWD 2020-21 Draw Hunts - Deadlines Vary

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) helps connect women with outdoor skills and sports. The Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) new Migratory Bird and Waterfowl Hunting Digest for the 2020-2021 hunting season is now available where permits are sold and online. The Oregon 2020-21 Game Bird Regulations are now available in stores and online. Fall turkey tags and 2020-21 Upland Game Bird, Waterfowl, and HIP validations on sale now.
