Colorado Parks and Wildlife has completed the purchase of a parcel of land along the Roaring Fork River near Carbondale that will allow for the expansion and improvement of river facilities at the Sam Caudill State Wildlife Area. The 1.5-acre parcel purchased by CPW is immediately adjacent to the popular Sam Caudill SWA on the northeast side of the Roaring Fork River.
