Applications for Iowa 2020-21 Deer Hunting Season Opens May 2   The Iowa 2020-21 deer hunting application period opens for both resident and non-residents on May 2, 2020 at 6 a.m. and closes June 7, 2020 at midnight, CST. Preference point purchases and applications will only be accepted during this time. The 2020-21 Deer hunting season schedule will be out shortly.
