It is critical that you use the same Customer ID each time you apply for a lottery hunt. Failure to do so will result in failure for preference points to be correctly attributed

If you are an existing customer, do not create a new account. By doing so you will not receive credit for previously accumulated preference points. If you have questions or need any assistance, contact Emily Kearse at 803-734-3887 or [email protected].

A non-refundable fee of $20 per hunter is required on each application for the Multi-site Waterfowl Lottery Hunt and $5 per youth applicant for the Youth Multi-site Waterfowl Hunt. Youth must be 17 years of age or younger to apply for the youth hunt.

After the selection process occurs, the primary applicant will receive email notification of the drawing's completion.

Due to concerns for the potential of COVID-19 transmission, SCDNR will implement some changes in procedure at Public Waterfowl Lottery Hunt site locations.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHEN INTERACTING WITH SCDNR STAFF, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN MASK, and will be subject to temperature screening prior to being allowed to hunt.

These hunts typically host numerous people coming from many locations, both in and out of state, and present opportunities for rapid transmission not only to other hunters but to SCDNR staff. Social distancing will be encouraged and SCDNR staff will make every attempt to employ safety precautions. However, participants may be in close proximity to other hunters and SCDNR staff during transportation to and from the hunt site. Should you be uncomfortable with this, please consider purchasing a preference point only this year and not participating in the hunts.

As a reminder, you no longer lose any accumulated preference points if you do not apply every year.

By applying for the SCDNR 2020-2021 Public Waterfowl Hunts, you, and all members of your party, agree to bring their own mask and TO WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHEN INTERACTING WITH SCDNR STAFF*. Additionally, temperatures of participants will be checked on arrival and hunters whose temperatures exceed CDC guidelines will not be permitted to hunt. You must follow all instructions and signage at your hunt site and remain in your vehicle until told to exit. Participants may need to report to the hunt site earlier than normal and experience delayed pick up to facilitate social distancing.

SCDNR staff will not be allowed to carry your hunt items, so plan to travel light and BRING ONLY WHAT YOU CAN CARRY. Only one bag of decoys and one dog will be allowed per party.
