COVID-19
As OUR COUNTRY SLOWLY STARTS to REOPEN AGAIN (from the COVID-19 pandemic) and continue to enjoy outdoor activities, ALL outdoorsmen (man, woman, child) should follow the guidelines set by nps.gov. These guidelines include; social distancing, the Leave No Trace principles, including pack-in and pack-out, to keep outdoor spaces safe and healthy.
The phase I application period for the Florida 2020 alligator harvest permit random drawing runs through May 18 so you still have time to apply.
More than 7,000 harvest permits will be available. To submit your application, log into your account at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com. Don’t forget you’ll need a valid debit or credit card to apply!
The statewide recreational alligator hunting season runs Aug. 15 – Nov. 1 each year. And depending on what harvest period you draw, you will be allowed to hunt one of the first 4 weeks and the remaining 7 weeks of the season:
