The 2016 pheasant hunting season opened on October 1 and the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department reminds pheasant hunters that due to safety concerns, all pheasant stocking sites will be closed to pheasant hunting until noon statewide on both Thursday and Friday of the first three weeks of the season.
