Kentucky Proposes New Fishing Regulations for 2018

The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission proposed several new fishing regulations at a special meeting. The commission recommends all hunting, fishing and boating regulations for approval by the General Assembly and approves all expenditures by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. All recommendations must be approved by legislators before they become law. If approved by legislators, fisheries regulations proposed at the meeting would take effect March 1, 2018. Missouri Angler Hooks State-Record Quillback  The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) reports that Timothy Keene of Ozark became the most recent record-breaking angler in Missouri when he hooked a quillback on Bull Shoals Lake in Taney County using a rod and reel. County treasurer offices across Pennsylvania will begin accepting applications for 2017 antlerless deer hunting licenses - doe licenses - on Monday, July 10.
