Georgia 2020 Firearms Deer Hunting Season gets Underway

The Georgia deer firearms season opened Sat., Oct. 17 and continues through Jan. 10, 2021 statewide. As much as our lives have been disrupted this year thankfully we still have deer season to look forward to. With all the rainfall leading into summer and throughout August, I, hunters can expect optimal antler growth and bodyweights this season. The season bag limit is 10 antlerless deer and two antlered deer (one of the antlered deer must have at least four points, one inch or longer, on one side of the antlers).
