Delaware 2020 Archery and Crossbow Deer hunting opens Sept 1 to Jan. 31, 2021, including Sundays (½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunset). Registered motor vehicles used to access designated wildlife areas owned or managed by the DFW are required to display a Conservation Access Pass (CAP). Hunters will no longer receive tags that must be attached to a deer before the animal is moved from the place of kill. Instead, all hunters legally allowed to hunt deer, will receive a Deer Harvest Report Card which will show all of the tags available to the hunter based on what they are eligible for and/or have purchased.
