California 2020 band-tailed pigeon & archery only pheasant season opens mid December. The General Season for Band-tailed Pigeons in the Southern Hunt Zone Opens Dec 19 (extending through Dec. 27). Daily bag limit is 2 per day with possession limit triple the daily bag limit. The 2020 general pheasant season is open through Sunday, Dec, 27.
