New York Announces 2020 Bowhunting Seasons for Deer/Bear

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner Basil Seggos announced that bowhunting seasons for deer and bear begin in the Northern Zone on Sept. 27, and in the Southern Zone on Oct. 1. Hunters are also reminded to apply for Deer Management Permits by next week's Oct. 1, 2020, deadline.
