New Montana Walleye & Perch Regulations Now in Effect on Holter Reservoir

Montana anglers are reminded of a regulation change that began Jan. 1 for walleye and perch fishing at Holter Reservoir south of Great Falls. Yellow perch limits are now 25 daily and in possession. Walleye limits are now five daily, only one larger than 25 inches; and the possession limit is twice the daily limit. Maryland Angler Sets Record with Big-Scale Pomfret  The Maryland DNR has officially recognized Jeff Rosenkilde of Monkton as holding the first official state fishing record for big-scale pomfret. California Accepting Applications for 2020 Joice Island Wild Pig Hunts  The California CDFW is offering wild pig hunts in March and April at the Joice Island Unit of Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Solano County. The 2020 Joice Island pig hunt drawings will be administered online exclusively. CDFW is accepting applications until 4 p.m. on Feb. 14.
