Kentucky 2020 deer hunting season is underway with Archery which runs through Jan 18, 2021. Early muzzleloader Deer Season Opens Oct 17-18 and reopens Dec 12-20. The Youth-only Gun Oct. 10-11, 2020. Kentucky is a top-10 state for hunters seeking that trophy buck. The herd also is substantial enough to support the harvest of more than 130,000 deer each year. That’s a lot of venison for the table.
