  With cooler temperatures and higher humidity reducing wildfire danger, the Washington (WDFW) lifted target shooting restrictions on WDFW lands Sept 15. A similar target shooting ban was lifted the same day on lands managed by the state DNR.   The Wyoming GFD is working to finalize its investigation into a recent grizzly bear attack that killed a local hunting guide and injured his client.   Idaho 2018 Nonresident/Second Deer & Elk Tags are on sale. Nonresident tags are limited to 12,815 elk tags, which are also available as second tags.   Nebraska hunters may enter a lottery to gain deer hunting access to Platte River Recreation Access (PRRA) lands in the central Platte River Valley. According to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, 47 hunters will be chosen from a random drawing in early October and allowed to hunt deer on designated PRRA lands Nov. 16-18. The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is allocating three bighorn sheep licenses for the 2018 hunting season, two fewer than 2017. One license is available in Unit B3 and one in B4.
