Rhode Island 2019 Early Canada Goose Season Opens Sept 1st  Rhode Island 2019 early Canada goose season opens Sept 1-Sept 30.  Shooting hours are ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunset for September season only. Bag limit 15. Permit and reservations are required to hunt geese at the South Shore Management Area during the regular season. Permits will be issued online and at the DFW Great Swamp Field office.
